Otto,

I did that ride back in 2012 and split it over two days.  My halfway point 
was a family members, but there are plenty of options in petaluma, I 
imagine.  I would have to say the second day was just tremendous and 
amazing, but the first day provided a nice contrast.  I grew up in the Bay 
Area and had been to this section of California many many times, but it 
wasn't until I rode it on my bike that I really understood the terrain and 
its beauty.
