Dave, the spacers as far as I can tell only come on riv sold ones with the basic Sugino rings. Mine came that way. All other cranks I bought as complete with the ramped Sugino rings for other retailers do not have them, nor need them . It's because of the basic rings that they are needed , the design is different from the OEM ones, which you cannot but aftermarket, which is too bad.
