Shouldn't be. At most the smallest sprocket would be moved 2.5 mm inward.

I respaced a Dura Ace hub on my Hilsen by using 2 x 2.5 mm spacers, one on
each side. Reset the limit screws on the derailleur and it has worked
famously for a year or so.
