Bob,

I'd love to hear back in a couple months on how much use the other
(non-Homer) bikes get! I'm only about 3 months into my Saluki ownership
and it is still dominating my attention. I've got an XO-3 set up single
speed via a White Industries eccentric rear hub (vert dropouts) and while
it hasn't seen much action lately I expect it will pick up the slack in the
winter. A double-double setup on that bike would be pretty darn cool.

I've been keeping my eye out for a first gen fatbike as all the fancy
carbon ones come out on the used market here in the DC area but no dice so
far. I don't think there are that many around given our lack of sand and
persistant snow... they are awfully fun though!

Thanks for sharing htoughts on the non-aero brakes, I'll have to try and
demo a set at some point and make my own opinion. I'll bet they look wild
on the albastache!

Happy Fourth!

Tony
