The 'agapanthus purple', 'lavendar', 'lilac' Saluki is a gorgeous bike. Honestly the color really grew on me the longer I had the bike. But even though I grew to appreciate the color and how it stood out from pretty much all other bikes (not limited to Saluki's) it just didn't fit my taste for my daily rider, my nicest and most expensive bike. If I was starting with a blank frame I'd go dark british racing green or a dark maroon/garnet... So Bill's Fairway Green Saluki was a huge lucky break for me!
