When I do an image search, most cross bikes I see have flat or slightly sloping top tubes for shouldering the bike which is very important in racing. And most steel cross bikes have lugged crowns especially custom ones.
The dirt bomb is an interesting mix between their cyclocross and MTB bikes. I'm sure it's a fun bike and the kind of bike I prefer for most of my riding. I just would rather have lugged/brazed construction and lugged fork crowns for my bikes. I did notice the Dirtbomb BB drop seems kinda short for my taste at 60mm. *Now back to the original question*. The Legolas is a beautiful bike and I really considered getting one now that it's possible, but the limited tire clearance ( ~38mm ) pushed me to get something custom made. ~mike -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
