It seems to me that there isn't a ton of functional difference between the 
brands, but there is a  glaringly obvious difference in the products. If that 
difference is something that appeals to your client's sensibility, then he 
already knows if the wait is worth it. 

As for Riv vs. BG or other custom options, it seems like a search for a fit in 
styles—riding and aesthetic.
