The "700C" Free Radical is just the 26" FR with the canti studs moved up. I gather that that with 26" you can fit a big tire, Fat Frank, Big Apple etc. With 700C is is more like 38cm and then without room to fit a fender very well if desired. A round indentation in that back tube would resolve that, as it is the tight spot for big 700C tires...
