The Pasela TG (original RBW issue on my Ram) is a favorite tire for the zippy but comfortable ride. It does not have high mileage tread, but at the price point, I don't mind replacing it when needed. The smaller size makes it a little faster, but that detracts from comfort, so the casing suppleness is what you are feeling. The TG is of course more susceptilble to injury than the Marathons. I have only had one flat ever using them, in thousands of miles.
The Regular Pasela also comes in fatter sizes. I am running 37s on a 26" conversion bike and love them as well. They are significantly faster than Col de la Vies of the same tire width. (In the coasting test, after a downhill I can get past the stop sign with the Paselas, but fall two houses short of the stop sign with the CdlVs. I can't get more scientific than THAT!) ________________________________ From: JoelMatthews <joelmatth...@mac.com> T If anything a wider tire with supple rubber will be more comfortable with minimal impact on speed and acceleration.
