When I sell something to someone on the list or- for that matter- on
eBay, I do not feel it is necessary or even appropriate to try to
recoup money for my time spent packaging an item for shipping and
taking it to the Post Office. I feel that the time and effort is
just a given and part of the process, to which I agreed when I
elected to sell my item on eBay or through the list. Some people,
however, have a sense of entitlement to be paid for anything they do
for someone else. Sign of the times, I guess.

Semi-Riv content. I have purchased several items from folks living
near me who advertised through the RBW or iBOB lists, and a couple of
times the sellers offered to just drop the items off at my house on
their way home from work or while out for a ride. Talk about
friendly and generous! I always come away from these discussions
feeling that there are many people in the world who are made of
higher quality stuff than I am.
