There were a fare number of folks that were even speedier than me.
Also a fare number behind me. For any of you thinking of trying
randonneuring don't be too daunted by the distances and time lengths.
While the distances get pretty big the time limits are generous. I'm
trying to complete an R70 which means doing a super rando series in
70% of the time limit. This isn't any sanctioned by RUSA but an honor
(I guess that's what you'd call it) recognized by Cyclos Montagnards
which also honors R60s, and R80s. This actually created quite the
controversy over at the Google Randon Group.
