Paul, Yeah, I have thumbies the tops of dirt drops on my Kog PR and it works great. Dirt drops have too much flare for STI or kelly takeoffs to work well. So I think bar top thumbies are the best option for them: http://www.flickr.com/photos/targetsalad/2392344293/
