Its interesting to read that you have never felt slower on your bike.
I had the opposite experience on a street converted mountain bike
using albatross bars and cork grips. I have not ridden a bike as fast
and as good on hills as this combo and I never had sore hands or a
sore backside. I use a B66 and my tires are 1.5 inch wide pumped to 80
psi. I like the combo so much I am seriously considering changing my
drop bar Atlantis clone bike to Albatross bars or maybe mustache bars.
I'd have to get a wider saddle for that so I can't do it now but I'm
liking the idea. I want to be able to ride 50 miles with no @$$ pain
or numb hands and so far this conversion bike is really better than
anything I have been riding and I've tried every Riv trick in the
book.
