Congrats on the first century. I've been vowing to do my first century for the better part of a decade. We'll see. The two local centuries are the Santa Fe century in early May -- starts too early in the am to drive 60 miles from Albuquerque, and then it's hilly, not so good on a fixed gear -- and the much more recently established Albuquerque century. If the latter is held again this year (this will be year 3) I may do it, since it's a lot flatter than the SF century.
Patrick "I'm a Picassa man myself" Moore, who just braved an uphill-with-headwind leg from church on his 75" Joe-built custom fixed gofast. PS: I just this morning removed the Lizard Skin lower headset race wraparound seal (it velcro's in place) after many years. The Tange Roller Ball hs is the original with the bike and has 9300 miles on it with no overhaul. Can I attribute this longevity to the LS seal, or will the lower race be fine without it? (No fenders on this one -- fenders on all 3 of my 4 others, and I plan to be-fender #4 -- which is ridden in dry but dusty conditions.) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
