Pull the straps tighter? I cinch mine up pretty darn tight. I use just one,
leather toe strap.

Of course, my saddle is, in this case, a Turbo, so when I jam it up against
the rails and pull the strap tight, it gets tightly wedged into the gap
between rails and nylon base. A B17 might leave more room for the thing to
squirm around and work its say out.

I carry as much in mine as you do in yours and, so far, no problems.
