That sounds similar (or maybe less than) what i've carried in my
burrito wrap without loss. I also use two toe straps, usually one
around the seat rails and the second one forward around the post,
seems more stable that way. It seems like it's more stable if it's not
a totally solid bundle, and can be cinched up in a bit of a curve (as
allowed by the wrench anyway). I also usually have a small chunk of
rag in mine to wipe hands if needed, it could be that the extra squish
from that lets it be more snug or something.
