The pit lock skewer works on one of my bikes that has a binder post
that juts straight back from the seat tube similar to those by many of
the post war Italian builders and the steel lugged Treks.

Do not work on a custom with the new style collar around the seat tube
and the other which has a fastback style seat cluster.
