While giving my AHH some post-ride love, I looked closely at the headbadge. Is there some [good] reason RBW wouldn't fasten the headbadge to the tube with screws or rivets as opposed to glue? It appears they used a sealant/adhesive such as Goop. There is a definite gap between the headtube and the badge, allowing just enough space for matter to accumulate. Also, the vacant drillings in the badge give an unfinished appearance. Is gluing a standard and accepted means for fastening badges, or did RBW skimp here?
