The bike also has an eDelux now (great light!) and I replaced the ugly and hard-to-work red connectors with coaxial power connectors (EIAJ-2 connectors, if I recall correctly): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coaxial_DC_Power_Connectors#EIAJ_standards I spent a lot of time on the wiring, most of which was down to extreme fastidiousness.
