I've winterized the freehub on a set of wheels with lighter weight oil after it kept seizing up. A friend told me his Rohloff hub instructions recommend a lighter weight oil for the cold. Rohloff seem to have changed this now with new all season oil. Wouldn't it be possible to winterize Alfine/Nexus gearhubs in a similar way?
