Hi, I'm in the process of building my Atlantis and had a (hopefully) quick question about brakes. I'm confused about the terminology used to describe different brakes--specifically "linear" brakes-- as well as brake levers. I understand that the term "linear" brakes usually refers to a V-Brake, but I'm not sure how the terminology describes how the brake works and I' get even more confused when trying to apply the term to brake levers.
As a corollary to the above question I do know that I'll be using Paul Touring Canti's on the Atlantis--any suggestions on an appropriate match for a brake lever? What are the implications with a brake lever mis-match with this particular brake? Thanks all!
