Guess I am the opposite. My first custom is threadless. I ultimately had a custom stem made for it that does not require spacers. Its beautiful, but came at an additional $450.00. My second custom I specified threadless. The builder double checked as most of his customers ask for threadless. For the record, builder and I are both very happy with how it turned out.
