Hello all:
I bought a used Quickbeam a year ago; and though the outside is still
a beautiful green, I'm afraid the inside may be closer to the newer
orange color.
When I took the seat post out to re-grease and stop the squeaking, it
had a couple of rusty veins on it.
A have a few questions:
1) If I am to spray some Boshield in there, do I need to remove the
bottom bracket so everything runs out?
2) Should I ream and scrape?
3) Does it really matter, since I live in the dry Bay Area and I can
just regrease the seat tube?
4) Any other advice?
Thanks for your help in advance.
