That won't help much, because clamscan runs after qmail-smtpd has died.
I might try to use clamd instead of clamscan like Salvatore suggested,
but assuming it is using the same scanning engine as clamscan, which
never finishes, I wonder what will happen. I don't think all this is
caused by loading definitions, usually clamscan is finished after 0.1-2
seconds.
I don't think I'll go for Denis' suggestion, won't killing clamscan
cause the mail to a) not be delivered now, and b) be deferred? So I'll
just get the email later instead, and there's no reason to think that'll
work any better.
Just as an update, here's the current status on my box, after I cleaned
up everything a couple of hours ago. Sorry for the messy output. Note
the last number before the command line, which is CPU-time used so far.
