Hi all! i have a problem with some spam mail having a carriage return (with linefeed) at the end of the subject header line. I was able to reproduce it with a mail only containing linefeeds but with an extra carriage return at the end of the subject line (before the linefeed). I use spamassassin to tag the mails, which adds its headers to the mail. On client side we use outlook, and outlook seems to think that the extra carriage return is an empty line, and that at this point, the body starts... And as the Spam filters are searching for spam-tagging in the header, not the body, it is not marked as spam.
I am not sure whether this is a qmail-scanner or qmail problem (or spamassassin) problem (well, actually its a outlook problem, but i don't have the sources ;-), and how to get rid of it. I tried to use fixcrio, but this did not work. I do not know if this would be a case for the fix_mime settings of qmail-scanner , but i need a solution that does not include the rest of the fix/check mime stuff.
