What was the context of this email about ?
I'm sorry, my knife was cutting the whole thing away, instead of keeping the weird politics, just above my reply. I hereby provide the 'weird' policies;

Hi,
You need .* at the end of the description if the actual Subject line has more following it.

On all my mail servers except one (the admin wants it that way) we 554 - Reject email, we don't accept it and then dev/null it.
It looks like an admin that's screwing up his own setup.
Let's take the first one: failure.*notice Virus-Subject: failure notice
This failure notice (if I'm understanding it correctly), is deleting ALL failure notices including the REAL failure notice regarding misspelled addresses. That is plain crazy, since users write to a wrong address, thinking that they've actually send that VERY important mail.
How can an e-mail vanish? it can't, but your mailserver admin deleted it, because of someone complaining about how e-mail works......
Sincerely Max
