This must be a common question but the more I look at it the more
confused I become.

I run FreeBSD 5.3, which does not allow perl suid by nature. The
alternative suggested is to use the c wrapper in ./contrib
(qmail-scanner-queue.c or qms-config-script-cwrapper according to
qmailrocks.org which I could never find with 1.22 or 1.24).

So I read through the qmail-scanner-queue.c which indicates that I should:
# cc -o qmail-scanner-queue qmail-scanner-queue.c
and install as /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue before changing
permissions and editing qmail-scanner-queue.pl.

When I try to make install I still get the same suid errors as before.
Anyone get this to work with the wrapper and can fill in the blanks
for me??? I've googled around for a day or so and still can't make
heads or tails on how to install qmail-scanner on FreeBSD.

Aaron
