hi

i installed qmail-scanner 1.20_2 from freebsd 4.9 ports.

I correctly set anything and qmail-scanner works
when trying to inject mail from command line:

su-2.05b# export
QMAILQUEUE="/usr/local/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl"
su-2.05b# cat
/var/qmail/maildirs/shouldshave.org/users/michele/cur/1071221032.67371.heroin\:2\,S
| /var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject -f"---censored----"
---censored---- ; echo $?
0
su-2.05b#

no errors, and the mail is correctly delivered through
qmail-scanner since it contains
X-Qmail-Scanner: 1.20 (Clear:RC:1(127.0.0.1):. Processed in
0.096837 secs). This has been took from a root shell, but from
an user account it behaves pretty the same.

now, let's try to get the same on TCP:
su-2.05b# cat /etc/tcprules/tcp.smtp
[..]
--censored_ip--:allow,RELAYCLIENT="",QMAILQUEUE="/usr/local/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl"

compile these rules and try to post from censored_ip:
that's what I get:
qq permanent problem (#5.3.0)

Let's check the log: it's empty. If it didn't exist, it wouldn't
even been created ($DEBUG is 1). It seems qmail-send doesn't
execute it.

permissions are ok, and I really can't get where is the problem.

As you know, djb doesn't even know the word "debug". Qmail-send
logfiles are completely unuseful in this case.

Does anyone have some advice?

thanks
