I've built ala "Life with Qmail" on RH 7.3. I want SpamAssassin but no virus.
I'm trying to use the wrapper for security reasons. My paths are also different and I changed this in qmail-scanner-queue.c before compiling.
Mail works but when I change tcp.smtp to call qmail-scanner-queue (w/o .pl) I just get error in qmail/smtpd/current when I try to send mail:
Can't locate Time/HiRes.pm in @INC (@INC contains: {list of perl 5.6.1 paths}
which is where qmail-scanner-queue.pl calls use Time::HiRes.
I followed the directions in qmail-scanner-queue.c as to permissions and changing the .pl script to #!/usr/bin/perl.
I've re-installed HiRes v1.20-14 which is the version that was with RH 7.3. I also re-installed perl.
Any ideas?
