For OpenRISC the main test I do is booting linux. The steps and a link to a system image are described here: https://wiki.qemu.org/Documentation/Platforms/OpenRISC I just confirmed with the latest QEMU and it works well. For good measure, we probably should have an SMP kernel as well and try to boot both so we would have 2 test cases. I will update the wiki to add SMP.
