I checked the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSSQLServer\Client\DB-Lib", and verified AutoAnsiToOem was 'ON'. I also tried assuming mbcs as the encoding but didn't got very far (please see my other post). -- http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
