He consistently misunderstood almost everything I said (which is a pattern of behaviour he seems to have, i.e. heroically misunderstanding people so he can argue with them), lied about what I had said, lied about what he had said, lied about me "not arguing in good faith", was rude and insulting, and studiously avoided the actual interesting and useful topic in favour of a stupid and pointless flamewar about his misunderstanding of my original question. He clearly didn't know the answer to the question nor did he have any interest in dicussing it in a civilised manner with a view to discovering the answer, he just wants an argument.
