Fedora has long had a separation between primary, release blocking, CPU architectures, and separate secondary architectures that generally work, most of the time, but issues with them aren't going to prevent a release going out. Our stable/unstable split is similar, so if using a separate master would make that easier to manage than the existing "stable" tag [1], it seems like a reasonable idea to me. Cheers, Nick.
