Sorry problem still exists.  I was not allowed to make such a change.

as root

# chmod 666 /dev/dsp

It was OK, permission changed and confirmed with

# ls -l /dev/dsp


After reboot it changed back again

as root

ls -l /dev/dsp
crw-------    1 root     root      14,   3 Aug 31 07:31 /dev/dsp

It is a little bid funny


During exiting following warning found :

aumix  error opening mixer    [Failed]
