Hi John, when you have opened pspp, then you need to open a syntax window with
File->New->Syntax There you can type syntax directly and execute it via the menu with "Execute->All". You can open an example syntax file via File->Open - then choose the „examples“ directory on the left and open „t-test.sps“ - Voilá you open a new syntax window with some T-Test Code.
