Yes you can still use your existing pspp files. Besides you can always
uninstall and reinstall  a previous version if necessary.

But I am not aware of any changes regarding the McNemar test. Although I
would recommend upgrading I don't think that will solve your problem. So
better explain your problem to the list and maybe someone can help you.
