I haven't seen it work this way pspp. Is the pspp way to select cases on some condition to Transform-Compute a new boolean variable based on a desired condition, then Data-Select Cases and Use Filter Variable on the new boolean? I've got this to work at least once, but for now it's not changing my data view despite some lovely 1.00 and .00 values in the boolean filter variable. I do notice there is a "Transformations Pending" note at the bottom of the UI.
It works the same way as in spss, but the X in the row titles hasn't yet been implemented. It's been on the list of bugs for some time now. https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/index.php?20828 The bug tracker has the ability for people to "vote" for those items they'd most like to see fixed, but this feature doesn't seem to have been used much. Perhaps we should encourage people to start using it. 2. I understand graphs aren't doable at this point from psppire, so is the way to do them to get up a syntax window and enter the appropriate pspp syntax from Examine etc? You can get a syntax window by selecting File->New->Syntax. If you then enter some syntax which generates charts, they will be written to an external file, and you'll see a message telling you that.
