It is free. Go out to your car and close up all the windows on any sunny day. Building structures that work with solar instead of structures that emulate Mc Mansions is what is not being done yet. I lived in one back in 82-83 in Flagstaff. Altitude was 6200 ft or so and we had a nice toasty warm house in the winter with 100-150 inches of snow outdoors over the winter season. We also had a hot tub that was solar powered for keeping it warm and running the fluid through one of the fire places when needed. Summer it got HOT in there. We put tarps on the southern side to defeat all that incoming energy midday. This was all FREE heat. We had plumbing into the foundation to take warm fluids and warm parts of the house as needed. Only downside was laundry and using cold water for washing in winter. So what are you talking about that this is SOOOO expensive? -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer CIMSgts 901.246-0159 cell _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
