Hi Everybody,

Gateway came up at the top of the search. Doesn't look like any cell 
phone services are supported in the US, though.

I had occasion to call Gateway a while ago. Wonder of wonders, the guy 
spoke standard USA English. I didn't take the deal, though. Too 
expensive at $168 to service a P II.

But today when my Virgin Mobil service gummed up, the phone team turned 
out to be in the Philippines. Really can't understand them when they get 
off their script.

The hold for the supervisor was about 40 minutes until my call was put 
through to a noisemaker and then cut off.

When I called back the next operator was little better. I kept telling 
her to slow down because I couldn't understand her unless she spoke 
carefully and slowly.

The issue turned out to be a software "upgrade" on their end. Supposedly 
it will be fixed in 4 hours. I have auto-pay, everything is *supposed* 
to "just work".

Of course, it is only $15 and tax every 90 days.
