In Spain a lot of buildings have solar cells on them. Big buildings can rent
space to companies supplying electricity. It's a neat idea if a bit ugly.
Just a shame they can't make the things look a bit nicer. Then again Spain
has never been into nice looking, just making money. Look at what they did
to all those nice mountains between Valencia and Alicante.
Is this also going to be the future in the US ? Solar panels that is.

More rain that I like out there.

Our next step is to get a geo=thermal exchange unit to help reduce the load
on both the AC and heating system.  I am also looking at solar panels to try
to cost effectively sell back power to the electrical utility supplier out
here.  With current tax credits and other incentives we are almost at a 12
year break-even point.  I am hoping to see it hit 5-6 years, at which point
I will make the move to either or both technologies.
