What's really good about Vista is how it handles security. It's so much easier now that you can run a program and get prompted for the Administrator credentials instead of having to set up a bunch of short cuts with "Run with different credentials" checked. No need for a special Admin Explorer anymore. No hunting for the settings to run Explorer multiple times. No more remembering to use shift+right click (the keyboard shortcut doesn't work on my Dell). And best of all: To install a program from the network I can simply execute the setup instead of copying the file locally or connecting to the same server again as a different user. No, best of all is that you can now double click the clock in the taskbar and get a calender instead of an error message. -- Christof _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/182a98abcca845faa964e35fd2fe8...@fpl5 ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
