Yikes they want it both ways. I understood that OEM software was to go with
a PC or bit of hardware. So it should stay with that hardware.
Well you would have thought so anyway.
I can understand Linux on a machine that just does word processing or access
the internet. My bite was pushing Linux on a list that is VFP. Most home
computers could easily survive in Linux. But for those of us programming in
VFP or .net its not an option.

In *2003* the Great Satan wanted to charge us $40 grand that we didn't 
have for Windows 98 and "charity" hardware. They said we *couldn't* use 
Win 95 on hardware that had been already donated to us by local 
businesses because, well, just because!

When I bought a notebook for myself shortly after that I loaded Linux in 
beside XP and forgot all about Windows most of the time. Now Windows 
isn't even on my machine, not even in VM.
