Maybe, but why should there have been a problem? I don't know about SP2 because I have migrated to the L-word. Now I am chasing my tail in that sandbox. Ten years ago I had the pseudocode ready for an unspecified development tool medical research app. I had been experimenting with FoxPro 3 for DOS and later VFP 5 as the tool for some four years when that "SP3 for Win2K" EULA crap hit the fan and at the same time M$ came after us (a low-buck 501 (c) (3) charity) over Win 95 licenses. http://leafe.com/archives/showMsg/138654 In *2003* the Great Satan wanted to charge us $40 grand that we didn't have for Windows 98 and "charity" hardware. They said we *couldn't* use Win 95 on hardware that had been already donated to us by local businesses because, well, just because! When I bought a notebook for myself shortly after that I loaded Linux in beside XP and forgot all about Windows most of the time. Now Windows isn't even on my machine, not even in VM. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
