No you don’t understand. The rot is in and our opponents will already be in
with the knifes. It may be ok for all those that play with programming but
for those with products and competitors its all tits up. The "did you know
they use a dead language" has already happened for me. And that’s before VFP
was killed off by M$. As for open source, look whats happened to MySQL. Not
a good sign.

I understand - and share - the sentiment, but I do believe we've got at
least 10 years or so before the matter of our investments in VFP really
comes to a head. At that time, some options will be new, some improved,
and some gone.
