        No, God is an assumption. Theories require a preponderance of data,  
and must have passed experimental testing.

        There is no higher level of certainty than Theory in science  
(because there is no absolute certainty in science). Gravity is a  
Theory; electromagnetism is a Theory; atoms and molecules are  
Theories. Evolution is a fact (it can be observed); what people  
commonly call 'evolution' is actually Darwin's Theory of Evolution by  
Natural Selection.
