We do have customers who use still matrix for multi-part stationery printouts. It works great when it works but to get fast DM printing on paper of non-standard size so that it runs onto multiple pages without drifting is a total pain in the ass on operating systems whose whole paradigm is based around full page composition. So we nudge them towards laser as much as possible. > Outside of VFP for now. Sure about it being a driver, but in > Windows XP, it just worked. Well, the driver model in Windows 7 is completely different, as is the network stack etc. And better, because you can't use real mode printer drivers anymore, so crap ones can't crash the entire system. -- Alan Bourke alanpbourke (at) fastmail (dot) fm _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/1429213311.1944072.254775597.14a3c...@webmail.messagingengine.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
