Dot matrix eh? Quaint. In terms of Windows 7, people complained about XP having poor file system security, then when it got fixed in Windows 7, people complained again. You'll get used to it. In terms of things being different, I don't know about OSX but certainly every Linux distro I've ever seen moves more and changes more between major versions than Windows changed between XP and 7.
You don't specify if you mean from a VFP application or just in general. Either way, the reason is almost certainly driver related. If you mean from a VFP application and using a report design then the trick is normally to use printer fonts. If you look at the report design and the properties of a field or label, make sure the font you are using is one that is built into the printer (consult the printer manual). Other than that make sure you are using the latest manufacturer driver, then look at the properties and set it to the lowest DPI etc everywhere. -- Alan Bourke alanpbourke (at) fastmail (dot) fm _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
