According to "Using FoxPro 2.5 for DOS" by Slater & Arnott (with help from Gotthelf and Roche), I think you need the Distribution Kit in order to generate an EXE, compact or full EXE. But I think you can build an APP. There should be a project file, and BUILD APP myapp from myapp RECOMPILE ought to do it, iirc. The machines on which you run it either need the full FoxProX, or FOXR.EXE and some .ESL files.
