That's all remember as well. Build the app.
Install the runtime files in the novell searchable folder and you were good to go. That's how long its been since I saw one. -----Original Message----- From: ProFox [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ted Roche Sent: Thursday, March 19, 2015 8:54 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Foxpro DOS - How to build an APP On Thu, Mar 19, 2015 at 9:39 AM, Kevin Cully <[email protected]> wrote: > > My Questions: > 1. Yeah, I've thrown out a lot of those books, too, and the memory ain't what it used to be. According to "Using FoxPro 2.5 for DOS" by Slater & Arnott (with help from Gotthelf and Roche), I think you need the Distribution Kit in order to generate an EXE, compact or full EXE. But I think you can build an APP. There should be a project file, and BUILD APP myapp from myapp RECOMPILE ought to do it, iirc. The machines on which you run it either need the full FoxProX, or FOXR.EXE and some .ESL files.
