Hi All,

The Update sql query works in VFP6. And, you can create your own cursor, but not on the fly with the ReadWrite clause of VFP9; you have to use the same syntax as creating a new table - from an explicit SQL Create Table or using the FoxPro-style definition table.

(gripe) One of the problems of telling someone to switch from VFP6 to VFP9 is finding a legal copy of VFP9 to purchase. I've been looking for a couple of years, even asked this group a couple of times - and there doesn't seem to be anything available. (Well, I guess I should say, available at a reasonable price - I don't consider $930 a reasonable price for VFP9 Professional...) (\gripe)
